LE Poetry, Craig Matsu-Pissot

i dream i have a magical talisman

that can make all these troubles go away

in the dream i have buried it

beneath a blossoming fig tree

do these trees actually blossom

with some kernels of corn and pieces of chocolate

is it a prayer or an offering

where is it i wonder

where is this fig tree
